It’s Christmas!!!

My favorite holiday is here! Everything about Christmas makes me happy, the food, the gifts, the songs, the weather, family reunions, the decorations, the outfits… what’s not to love about the birth of Christ? Literally everything is perfect.
What Does Christmas Mean To You?
Christmas to me means gratitude – making sure that we keep returning to Him who has gifted us all that we need and so much more.
It means Love
It means Family. Being with those we love is a very important part of Christmas. Families who are spread out in different places coming together to celebrate and create new memories is such a vibe.
It means Giving – it’s a time to celebrate the life of Christ who is the greatest giver ever. Whether he is giving his life on the cross for you and I or he is granting our requests. We have been enabled as Christians to carry on the mission of Jesus and be “givers,” as well.
However, the true meaning of Christmas is Hope. The birth of Christ is God’s message of hope to us all. He sent Jesus to die in our place so that all who believe will have hope of eternal life. Peace on earth is found in the hope Jesus brought to us.
While we are feasting today, let’s not forget those who cannot afford to, the homeless, the sick, those who do not have enough… Whatever you’ve got, be sure to emulate Christ this season and give to everyone around you no matter how little. Go out of your way to help someone today. Show love and gratitude and most importantly, celebrate Jesus!!
